WALTERS VOLLEYBALL SEASON ENDS IN DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP

The Walters State volleyball team's dream of a return to the national scene was derailed in the NJCAA Southeast B District Championship by Cape Fear as they beat the Lady Senators in four games (25-16, 25-15, 20-25, 25-10).  The lady Senators sees their season end with an overall record of 15-13 record.

Mackenzie Sweigert led the team with ten kills.  Jordan Moore would follow her with eight kills.  Moore would also have three service aces in the match with Bella Webb serving up 2 aces with 18 assists.  Webb would also lead the team with 16 digs followed by Faith Heskett with 15 and Hannah Freeman with 11.  Moore also had seven blocks in the contest.
