TCCAA

Welcome to the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association!  Since 1968 the TCCAA has provided student-athletes the opportunity to continue their academic and athletic careers beyond the secondary level; with many progressing to compete at major NCAA universities and professional levels.  Representing the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region VII; the conference has garnered NJCAA National Championships in Baseball & Golf (Walters State), Men's Basketball (Aquinas), Women's Basketball (Roane State), and Softball (Chattanooga State).  All TCCAA institutions offer Baseball, Men's and Women's Basketball, and Softball.  Some institutions also offer Men's and Women's Cross Country, Men's and Women's Golf, Women's Soccer, and Women's Volleyball.

Student-athletes of the TCCAA consistently exceed the Governor's, the Tennessee Higher Education Commission's, and Tennessee Board of Regents Drive to 55 initiatives with the overallconference graduation rates exceeding 70%; over 80% transferring to universities continuing their athletic careers; in addition to several baseball players being drafted by professional baseball teams continuing their careers at the professional level.  Annually, the TCCAA averages 70 students receiving "Academic All-American" recognition by the NJCAA by having a grade point average exceeding 3.60.  Similarly, over 250 students receive "All TCCAA Academic Honors" by having a grade point average over 3.0.  Every year the coaches of the TCCAA continue to raise the bar for academic and athletic success.
