TCCAA ANNOUNCES VOLLEYBALL ALL REGION AWARDS

The TCCAA and NJCAA Region VII announced the 20220 All Region team Friday between the semifinals of the volleyball tournament.  Also, there were awards presented to the Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and Coach of the Year.  

Chattanooga State was represented by right side Hitter Mollie McCoy, middle hitter McKenna Hayes, and defensive specialist Rylee McDaniel.  Walters State recipients were opposite hitters and blockers Jordan Moore and Mackenzie Sweigart.  Defensive specialist Keely Stillwill, middle blocker Madison McWhorter, and outside hitter Whitney Thompson were selected from Roane State.

Moore, from Walters State, was named the Region VII Player of the Year.  Chattanooga's McCoy was voted as the Region VII Freshman of the Year, and Head Coach Kristi Lenoir was named the NJCAA Region VII Coach of the Year.
