HOST CHATTANOOGA STATE EARNS #1 SEED FOR VOLLEYBALL TORUNAMENT

The Chattanooga State Lady Tigers will host the NJCAA Region VII Volleyball Tournament next week with the semis scheduled for Friday evening, October 28, and the championship match scheduled for Saturday afternoon. The Lady Tigers earned the #1 seed for the tournament by going 8-1 in conference play during the regular season.

After Chattanooga, Walters earned the #2 seed by going 6-3 i conference play.  Roane took the third seed with a 4-5 record, and cleveland will be the fourth seed with an 0-9 ledger.

Chattanooga will face Cleveland in the first semi on Friday with the start time scheduled for 5:30pm EST.  The Lady Tigers took all three matches from the Lady Cougars by 3-0 match scores.  

Walters and Roane will face in the nightcap which is tentatively set for 7:30pm EST.  In their head to head play this season, the Lady Senators took all three matches from the Lady Riaders by identical 3-0 match scores. 

The winners of the semifinals will face off at 1pm EST on Saturday for the Region VII Championship.
