Pellissippi's Lee and Dyersburg's Hurt Lead The ALL TCCAA Team

TCCAA announces Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams, Special Awards

 

The Tennessee Community College Athletic Association released their Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams and Award Winners on Monday. 

 

For award winners, Pellissippi State's Sade Lee was named the Player of the Year. Dyersburg State's Addie Hurt was the conference's Freshman of the Year, while Mariana Diaz Lopez was named the Coach of the Year. 

 

Lee was named Player of the Year after scoring 11 goals this season and assisting on four goals. Lee totaled 26 points and had 17 shots on goal. 

 

Earning Freshman of the Year honors, Hurt led the conference in goals with 12 and had five assists. Hurt had 30 shots on goal and totaled 29 points, tops of the league in both. 

 

Rounding out the awards was Diaz. In Pellissippi's first year as a soccer program, Diaz led them to a 7-6 record and 4-4 in conference play. 

 

On First Team All-TCCAA were Pellissippi's Lee and Lauren Lemmo, Motlow State's Alba Embid, Alysa Benton, Alexis McMath, Camden Prosser and Kaite Jones, Dyersburg's Hurt, Columbia State's Emily Campos and Ansley Alexander and Southwest Tennessee's Maria Carrico and Micah Benson.

 

All-TCCAA's Honorable Mentions were Pellissippi's Yuri Garcia, Paige Janoyan, Isabella Altorfer and Kelly Velasquez Cruz, Columbia State's Ameila Greenwald and Cruz Grinolds and Dyersburg's Carissa Carvella.
