MOTLOW'S GASAWAY EARNS NATIONAL PLAYER OF WEEK RECOGNITION FROM NJCAA

Kristen Gasaway, a sophomore midfielder, from Motlow State was honored this past week as the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

Gasaway had five goalas in the in Motlow's two contests during the week  She had two goals and one assist in their victory over Dyersburg State on September 22nd.  She followed that with three goals in the Lady Bucks victory over Columbia State.

Her five goals came on ten shots on goal and was credited with the game winning goal against Columbia.  She has ten goals through nine games this season with four assists.  Her shot percentage is .294 (10 odf 34).  She has helped the Lady Bucks to a 7-2 record overall with a 3-0 conference record.
