ROANE STATE WOMEN'S GOLF FINISHES SIXTH AT INDIANA EAST FALL INVITATIONAL

The Roane State women's golf team made a trip to Richmond, Indiana to comp[ete in the Indiana University-East Fall Invitational this past weekend.  They finished in 6th place out of the twelve teams competing in the event.

The Lady Raiders are the only women's golf team in the TCCAA going into their third yeaar of existence.  They posted  two day total of 676 after shooting a 339 on the first day and improving to shoot a 337 in a rainy conditions on the second day.

They were led by freshman Parker Cole who finished 11th individually with a two day total of 159 (81-78).  Sophomore Georgia Cater (87-80) and freshman Raegan Corvette (81-86) were next with a 167 total.  Freshman Sydney Romer shot a 186 (93-93) while sophomore Sydney ueener shot a 90 on the first day, but was unable to finish the second day due to the weather.

The Lady Raiders return to the links on September 16th and 17th as they travel to Bluefield (VA) to compete in the Fincastle Invitational hosted by Bluefield University.
