VAZQUEZ-TROCHE OF CHATT STATE AND ASIA BARR OF WALTERS NAMED TO ALL-AMERICAN TEAMS

Silkiari Vazquez-Troche of chatt State and Asia Barr were both named All-Americans this past Week by the NJCAA.  Vazquez-Troche was named to the third team while Barr was listed as an honorable mention.

Vazquez-Troche, a TCCAA First Team selection this year, averaged 12.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 7.8 assists, and 2.1 steals a game for the Lady tigers this past season.  She helped Chatt to a 31-2 overall record and a trip to the NJCAA Women's Division I National Tournament after securing the NJCAA Region VII/TCCAA Tournament title.

Barr was named Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year this past season.  She helped the aLady Senators to a 19-9 overall record this season as well as the NJCCA Region VII/TCCAA Tournament Runner-up trophy.  She was the Lady Senators leading scorer at 15.3 points a contest as well as 3.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 3 steals a game.
