LADY TIGERS TO FACE COCHISE COLLEGE IN 1ST ROUND OF NATIONAL AFTER RECEIVING #17 SEED

Chattanooga State was announced as the #17 seed for the NJCAA Divison I Women's Basketball Tournament to be held at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper (WY).  Cochise College(#16 seed) will be the Lady Tigers' opponent in the first round.  They will be the first game of the tournament which starts on March 29th.  Their game time scheduled for 12p.m. EDT.

The Lady Tigers are currently ranked 25th in the lastest NJCAA poll with a 31-1 overall record, and were an automatic qualifier due to their Region VII tournament championship.  Coachise College is not tanked nationally and sports a 25-7 record and was the automatic qualifier from Region I in Arizona.

The winner of their game will advane to play the #! seed Hutchinson Community College.  Hutchinson was the Region XI champion and has a 33-0 overall record.
