CLEVELAND HEAD COACH THOMPSON RESIGNS; TAKES POSITION AT MIAMI OF OHIO
Head Coach Evelyn Thompson of the Cleveland State Women's Basketball program resigned her postion this past week to accept the position of assistant coach at the University of Miami of Ohio.
In her six years as the head coach of the program, she had an 85-56 (.602 winning percentage) overall record which included a conference record of 62-35 (.639). She also led the Lady Cougars to the NJCAA Region VII/TCCAA Tournament Runner-up in the 2021-22 season.
She joins the Redhawks staff, who are members of the Mid-American Conference.
