CLEVELAND'S LANEY BONE NAMED 3RD TEAM ALL-AMERICAN

Cleveland State's Laney Bone was honored by the NJCAA as she was named a 3rd team All-American this past week.  The 5'11" forward from Chattanooga was named the TCCAA Freshman and Most Valuable Player this past season for the Lady Cougars.

In 23 games for the Lady Cougars this year, she averaged 14.8 points and 12.2 rebounds a contest.  She was the top rebounder this year in the TCCAA while finishing fifth in scoring.  She was also third in the conference with 2.3 blocks a game.  She recorded 19 double-doubles on the season.

She helped lead the Lady Cougars to an 18-7 overall record, 14-4 in conference play.
