WALTERS STATE'S DAVE KRAGEL EARNS HIS 1,000TH VICTORY

Walters State's Dave Kragel joined an exclusive club on Wednesday night when the Lady Senators rolled past Roane State 96-66 in conference play.  with the win, Kragel became the first women's coach in NJCAA history to reach 1,000 wins.

This is Kragel's 43rd season as the coach of the Lady Senators and all 1,000 victories have come as the head coach at Walters State.  While at the helm of the Lady Senators, Walters has won 15 Eastern Division Championships, 19 State Championships, 16 NJCAA Region VII Championships, and 10 TCCAA Conference Championships.  He has coached 27 All-Americans and 77 TCCAA All-Region VII players.
