TCCAA HONORS REGULAR SEASON WOMEN'S ALL CONFERENCE

The TCCAA honored it student athletes on the women's side Saturday afternoon as they announced the All-Conference teams as well as special awards voted on by the league coaches.  

Players voted to the 1st team were Takya Bennett and Tia Bland from Southwest Tennessee, Zacharyia Esmon and Dulcy Fankam Mandjiadeu of Walters State, Britnay Gore of Cleveland State, Riley Guillemet of Roane State, Janna Lewis of Motlow State, Kira Lowery of Dyersburg State, Aliyah Miller of Volunteer State, and Shanice Nelson of Chattanooga State.

Members of the second team were Amber Appiah-Kubi of Roane State, Starasia Bell-Freeman and Tanisia Murphy of Motlow State, Tamia Curry and Candace Gaines of Southwest Tennessee, Johnna Jones and Semajia Ogburn of Jackson State, Jalaya Manning of Walters State, Hannah Phillips of Cleveland State, Xavia Williams of Volunteer State.

Receiving special awards were Tia Bland who was voted Freshman of the Year, Brianna Dixon of Walters State who was voted Defensive Player of the Year, Janna Lewis who was voted Offensive Player of the Year, and Lewis and Mendjiadeu who were Co-Most Valuable Players of the Year.  Dave Kragel of Walters State was voted as the Coach of the Year.
