TEAMS LOOKING FOR MOMENTUM GOING INTO POST SEASON

As the final weekend of play begins for the women, several teams are looking to be playing their best basketball going into post season.  Several seeds have yet to be determined going into the tournament, but Walters State and Motlow State have already secured the top two spots.

Four teams went into the last week of play with records near the .500 mark.  Chattanooga State, Southwest Tennessee, and Roane State were in position to move up and down between the 3 & 5 seeds while Jackson State could work their way into the discussion with games left against Motlow and Volunteer State.

Volunteer and Cleveland State are also looking to move up and down as wins and losses could move them up or down which includes Jackson in that conversation.  With only nine teams competing this season there is only one playin game in this year's tournament.  Dyersburg State will be the #9 seed in lthe tournament.
