LADY SENATORS CLAIM THEIR TENTH STRAIGHT REGULAR SEASON CROWN

The Walters State Lady Senators took a weekend sweep of Volunteer State and Motlow State this past weekend to secure their tenth straight TCCAA Regular Season crown.  

A 69-37 win over Volunteer on Friday gave the Walters a perfect 12-0 conference record which clinched at least a tie for the crown, but a 68-51 victory over the Lady Bucks secored the outright title as Motlow is in second place.

With two weeks to go in the season, there are still five teams jockeying for any of the positions between the 2nd and 6th seed going towards the tournament.  Motlow currently sits in second a half game ahead of Southwest Tennessee while Roane, Chattanooga, and Jackson are still in the hunt.
