CHATTANOOGA'S CAYDRA PARKER NAMED NJCAA SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Chattanooga State's Caydra Parker was named as the NJCAA Division I Softball Player of the Week for the week of April 12 through April 18.  Parker is a freshman outfielder for the Lady Tigers this year.

For the week, Parker was 10 od 12 at the plate (.833 average) with five doubles, one triple, and one home run.  She scored eight runs and had 11 RBIs in their series sweep of Southwest Tennessee.

She is currently the leader in batting average in the TCCAA with a .517 average.  She has 21 doubles, two triples, and nine home runs among her 74 hits.  Has scored 54 runs and had 57 RBIs in her 46 games this season.
