CHATTANOOGA STATE PRESEASON RANKED #6 AS SOFTBALL SEASON SET TO GET UNDERWAY

Softball season is set get underway this weekend as four teams are getting underway in Alabama in the Sand Mountain Classic in Albertville.  

The Chattanooga State softball squad will embark on the season as the preseason ranked #6 team in the NJCAA.  The Lady Tigers garnered  105 points in the preseason poll. 

They will be the defending NJCAA Region VII/TCCAA Champions after winning the title this past spring.  They made a deep run in the national tournament before being eliminated by eventual champion Florida Southwestern.

The beginning of conference play is set to begin the first weekend of March and conclude the last weekend of April.  All the squads will advance to the region tournament set to be held at Volunteer State.
