BERNER, RYAN, CAMPBELL NAMED NJCAA ALL-AMERICANS

The NJCAA announced the selection of the 2021-2022 All-Amerian teams this past week.  The TCCAA proudly had three representatives on the the three teams with one on each team.  Dyersburg's Madison Berner was named a first team outfielder, Chattanooga's Samantha Ryan was named a second team pitcher, and Walters' Jessica Campbell was a third team outfielder.

Berner, a freshman outfielder, hit .534 this past year with 16 doubles, four triples, and 19 home runs.  She also had 77 RBIs with 21 stolen bases.  Her on base percentage was .584 and she had a slugging percentage of 1.031.  She had a fielding percentage of .953 with only three errors in her 64 total chances.

Ryan, a sophomore pitcher, had a 23-5 record this season with three saves.  Her ERA was 1.35 as she surrendered 34 earned runs in 176 2/3 innings pitched.  She had 204 strikeouts to go with 44 walks and 118 hits.  She had a perfect fielding percentage as she had no errors in 51 total chances.

Campbell, a sophomore outfielder, hit a league high .559 this season with ten doubles, three triples, and 6 home runs from her leadoff spot.  She had 40 RBIs and 40 stolen bases.  She had an on base percentage of .605 with a slugging percentage of .751.  Her fielding percentage was a perfect 1.000 as she had no erros in 100 total chances.
