VOLUNTEERS GROVES, ROANE'S CAMPBELL NAMED ALL-AMERICAN HONORABLE MENTION

The NJCAA announced the 2024-25 Men's All-American teams this week.  The TCCAA had two representatives named as Volunteer State, Taylor Groves and Roane State's Walter Campbell both were named Honorable Mention.  Groves waas named the TCCAA Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, and Freshman of the Year.  Campbell was named to the TCCAA All-conference 1st Team.

TAYLOR GROVES

Groves appeared in 30 games, all as a starter.  He Averaged 19.1 points a game.  He connected on 44% of his shots from the field which included 32.1% from behind the three point line.  He was good on 65.4% of his free throws.  He averaged 6.9 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 2.2 steals a game.

WALTER CAMPBELL

Campbell appeared in 29 games, all as a starter.  He averaged 19.6 points per game.  He connected on 51.7% of his shots from the field which included 34.2% from behind the three point line.  He ws good on 68.3% of his free throws.  He averaged 10.7 rebounds, three assists, and 2.2 steals per game.
