ROANE'S CAMPBELL NAMED NJCAA DIVISION I BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Walter Campbell of the Roane State Raider basketball team was named the first NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the wek of November 1-5.

Campbell averaged 23.5 points in two games over the starting weekend.  He also averaged 12 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and one steal in their two wins.

In their opener against Georgia Highlands, he scored 23 points, had 10 rebounds and four assists in their 89-82 victory.

Against East Georiga Ccollege, he had 24 points to go with 14 rebounds, 3 assists, and two steals in their 88-76 win.
