DYERSBURG AND JACKSON BOTH REMAIN UNBEATEN IN CONFERENCE PLAY; CLEVELAND'S HICKS NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK

As conference play resumes after the holiday break, both Dyersburg and Jackson remain as the only undefeated teams after two weeks of play.  Dyersburg sits atop the standings with a 4-0 record while jackson is a half game behind with a 3-0 slate.  Dyersburg has a single conference game this week as they travel to Roane on Saturday.  Jackson will host Southwest Tennessee on Wednesday and then travel to Cleveland on Saturday.  

Roane, Chattanooga, and Cleveland all sit with one loss on their record.  Walters sits in sixth with a 2-2 record while Motlow and Southwest Tennessee each have one win in conference play.  Volunteer and Columbia both sit winless so far this season.  Chattanooga travels to Motlow on Wednesday and then will host Columbia on Saturday.  Cleveland travels to Walters and then will host Jackson on Saturday.  After hosting Cleveland, Walters will then travel to Volunteer on Saturday.  Motlow will be at Southwest Tennessee on Saturday and Columbia will host Volunteer on Wednesday as all teams will then prepare for the Christmas break.  

The TCCAA Player of the Week for the 2nd week of conference play went to Cleveland's Jaquez Hicks.  In two conference games, he averaged 22 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assists, and 2 steals as Cleveland 1-1 on the week.  In their triumph over Southwest Tennessee, he had 18 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, and one steal.
