SENATORS RANKED #25 IN PRESEASON POLL; COACHES' CHOICE TO REPEAT IN TCCAA

The Walters State Senators were ranked #25 in the country in the NJCAA Preseason Poll for the 2019-2020 season.  In the coaches' vote for the TCCAA, they voted for the the Senators to repeat as the TCCAA Regular Season Champions.

Walters recieved seven of the ten first place votes in the poll.  Motlow State recieved two and Cleveland State recieved the one first place vote.  Motlow, Southwest Tennessee, and Cleveland foloowed Walters in the vote of the league coaches.

The Senators went 23-8 last season which included a 14-4 record in conference for the regular season title.  The Senators saw their season come to an end in a first round upset defeat to Roane State in the Region VII Tournament.
