Brumley and Harrington named NJCAA D1 Baseball All Americans

Two from Southwest Tennessee named to NJCAA Baseball All-American Teams

 

The TCCAA Baseball Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year have been honored by the NJCAA.

 

On Monday, Southwest Tennessee’s Tyler Harrington and Colton Brumley were named NJCAA Baseball Third Team All-Americans. 

 

Harrington was named to the team after hitting .437 in 60 games. He had 12 home runs and 72 RBIs. Harrington scored 64 runs and stole 14 bases. Harrington ranked top-20 in the country in batting average.

 

For Brumley, the conference’s Pitcher of the Year went 13-2 with a 4.22 ERA. Brumley struck out 125 in 91.2 innings. He was tied for first in the country in wins and third in the country in strikeouts. Brumley gave up just five home runs all season.

With the announcement of the baseball All-Americans, that wraps up the athletic year for the TCCAA. The conference totaled 15 All-Americans on the year, up from 13 last season.
