WALTERS STATE'S MARMO EARNS NATIONAL RECOGNITION

Walters State's Caleb Marmo was named the NJCAA Division I Baseball Player of the Week for this past week's performance.  Marmo is a sophomore outfielder for the top ranked Senators.

For the week, he was 6 of 6 at the plate with four walks.  He had two doubles, a triple, a home run with six RBIS in their three game sweep of  Southwest Tennessee.

For the season, marmo has appeared in 34 games with a .371 batting average.  He has seven home runs and 23 RBIS to go with 51 runs scored.
