WALTERS' KOHL DRAKE NAMED 2022 NJCAA DIVISION I PITCHER OF THE YEAR

Walters State's sophomore pitcher Kohl Drake was named the 2022 NJCAA Division I Pitcher of the Year.  This is the second year in a row that the Senators has had a player given national recognition above All-American status.  He follows Alberto Osuna who was named the 2021 NJCAA Division I Baseball Player of the Year.

Drake was just recently announced as a first team NJCAA All-American after going 14-0 this past season with the Senators.  The Senators finished third in the nation with a 60-7 pverall record.
