WALTERS STATE'S RESENDIZ NAMED NJCAA DIVISION II RUNNER OF THE WEEK

Walters State's Brando Resendiz was honored as the NJCAA Men's Division II Cross Country Runner of the Week for the week of October 4-10.  Resendiz is a Morristown native who is a sophomore on the Senators men's team. 

During the week, Resendiz set a new course record as he won the Walters State with a time of 1:16.28.  He finished a minute ahead of teammate Gideon Erwin,  who finished in 1:17.37.  The Senators placed the top three runners in the event.
